CineVueLee CassanellThe most gut wrenching, harrowing and downright disturbing film you will ever see.
Total FilmTom DawsonPilger assembles an impressive range of interviewees, including 'embedded' war correspondents and whistleblowers.
Little White LiesMenaha ThiruMakes you question mainstream media to the extent that your worldview is shaken.
GuardianPeter BradshawPilger has returned to a subject that can't be revived often enough: the grotesque untruth of "weapons of mass destruction"...
User ReviewBenjamin AMindblowing documentary about the media and war. If you support war in any way, or you're the type of person that believes everything you see on TV or read in the papers, please please watch this! It's INSANE the amount of people that are brainwashed and lied to by the media and the government.
User ReviewEm KSee just some of the countless deceptions by the global mainstream news media laid bare in this powerhouse display of actual investigative journalism by the legend himself John Pilger. From WWI to Iraq, Vietnam to Wikileaks, Pilger dissects the utter failure of the news we rely on to form our own opinions in questioning, analysing and simply telling the truth. You owe yourself and your view of a reality based in fact, not propaganda, to watch this film. Highly recommended.
User ReviewScott KOnce again, a fantastic documentary from John Pilger.
User ReviewTom HA very critical and hard look at the role of journalism in today's ongoing colonial wars by one of journalism's own. Revealing, unsettling and very embarrassing for all those news organizations who air or publish officially inspired information unquestioned. That would be just about every news organization. Some surprising statements by people in the game, including those who still do not see what possibly could be wrong here.
User ReviewAdeline TAnother John Pilger's brilliant investigative journalism! I love the way he questioned BBC's head of newsgathering about BBC's imballance repoerting on Israeli attack on a ship carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza (she is only a beaurocrat in the beeb's to brass, not a journalist!!). I like the interview with Assange, and of course all the footage that mainstream tv never shown. Mr Pilger, you are my investigative documentary hero!!
User ReviewRolf JThis documentary film shows exactly why Dr Mahathir's call to "criminalise war" should be taken seriously. It's a shame nobody seems to be listening
