Full Plot Details

The writer Henry Jordan receives a mysterious TV set and soon he learns that the apparatus is a gateway through which undead come to the world of the living. They kill Henry and the house is sold to another family. The teenager Zoe Blair comes to house to clean it for her parents that are traveling abroad. Her brother Jeff Blair comes later to help Zoe and finds the TV set in the basement. He brings to his room and out of the blue, the stranger Joshua Daniels knocks on the door. Joshua explains that he sent a TV set mistakenly to that address, instead of to the Department of Occult Warfare. Jeff does not believe in Joshua, but soon he leans the truth about the TV of the undead.

User Review - 8/10 by Linda Ti was surprised....it's actually not all that bad. it's cheesy, of course....and some of the camera shots were really awkward, but overall, it was pretty entertaining. making fun of the acting and story just add to the fun. this film also contains my favorite kill done by a zombie when two of them place some woman in a washing machine and turn it on....fantastic. overall, it's a good, cheesy, entertaining time.

User Review - 8/10 by emerson 1You know those kinds of VHS movies you were enticed to grasp at your local video store back in the days, just because its long faded cardboard slipcase looked so underground, so vile and evil that you were totally bound to rent it more than any other (good) movie around. Well, The Dead Video is the epitome of that kind of movie; this is the Jean Luc Godard's Breathless of cheap and obscure 80s horror flicks. This, along with a cheap strong beer, actually made my day. Oh, yeah,, I forgot to say, this movie is exhilarating. And believe me, I know underrated cult B-movie when I see it. And I?ve seen it !! ha ha this is not funny at all.
