Cinemaphile.orgDavid KeyesNot at all original or distinctive in this volatile genre's ever-changing standards, but it is cautious, well-made and so driven by believable performances that it earns more respect than one might have assumed it deserves.
Dread CentralSteve "Uncle Creepy" BartonIf you're looking for a spooky little film that's free of pretension and sometimes logic and are into getting some quick shivers, you really cannot go wrong with The Taking of Deborah Logan
FILMINK (Australia)Theodore Sariklisit's truly amazing how the film manages to stay fresh and original amidst the sea of what has come before.
Reel Film ReviewsDavid NusairThe latest in a long-line of underwhelming found-footage horror flicks...
VoxDylan ScottAffecting performances and fully realized characters.
Cinema CrazedFelix Vasquez Jr.While half of the film is a genuinely spooky and unnerving possession tale, Adam Robitel falls prey to the tropes of found footage movies.
User ReviewIrene Show i love this creepy, scooky, horror thrillers and this one does not disappoints. a group of college students go out to interview a woman named Deborah Logan since she has been diagnosed with alzheimers disease. but once the systoms start to change, the true evil comes out. and literally all hells breaks loose.
User ReviewAshton KA wholly original plot, the ending really creeped me out.
User ReviewMaryJane SIf you don't like "documentary style" films, I wouldn't recommend it. However, I'm a huge fan of horror/thriller, and personally this was the ONLY movie that scared me. Small hints to the premise, if you pay attention. They eventually grow. Honestly, I think it's a great movie with a peculiar storyline. Might not be for some people, but out of "possession" flicks, I think this is a 10.
User ReviewWill LThis found-footage yarn takes a while to get good, but once it does, it delivers. It gets just absurd enough to be enjoyable, but also takes itself seriously enough to hold together.
