Film ThreatPhil HallThe production is strange, but for the wrong reasons.
User ReviewRachel MWhat a beautiful and terrifying thing the end must be. No tears, only feelings.
User ReviewBruce BIf you can put aside the fact that the lead character has a viennese accent and her father an irish one when they are both natives of Bangor, Maine then there is much to enjoy here. Hedy, stunningly beautiful as always, plays a deeply conflicted woman well and though the film veers wildly from morality tale to lurid melodrama it is certainly more fun than a lot of more highly thought of films.
User ReviewJames HAtmospheric and moody, with a good pace. Hedy Lamarr is well cast and the supporting cast is very good, especially George Sanders. Good score, nice sets. Certainly one of Edgar G Ulmer's best directoral efforts.
User ReviewMillo THedy Lamarr is so irresistible and twisted in the movie that fulls it completely.
User ReviewAllan CWhat a woman wants...a woman gets... Hedy Lamarr in a sultry mood--More fun than most modern, more flamboyant film efforts!!
User ReviewKevin M. WHedy Lamarr is so irresistible and twisted in the movie that fulls it completely.
