User Review - 10/10 by Andrew Ti love the ending, and the whole idea i wish it was real
User Review - 8/10 by Al Mthis movie will either blow your mind or confuse the hell out of you,by the end you get a sense that life and death are all but an illusion and reality is not always what it seems, this movie has gotten a bad wrap over the years but for those who actually get what its putting across will see its the perfect bridge between ringu and ringu 2.
User Review - 8/10 by Sharyn HWithout the knowledge of how it's connected to the Ring franchise, this movie makes little sense. It's described as a horror, but really doesn't live up to the title. That said, it fills many gaps within Ringu and Ringu 2, specifically about how the virus came about. I particularly loved the fact that it also shows that the video is not the only way to become infected by Sadako's virus - it's a pity other movies in the series didn't look at this. Seeing Sadako alive again was very interesting - she's a great character.
User Review - 8/10 by Anita RThis movie isn't that good as a sequel but if you know about the releasings of the first two films it makes sense but, if you've read the books "Ring", "Spiral (Rasen)", "Loop" and "Birthday", it's an extremely good adaptation of the story. This fallows the second book very well and everything left behind from the first book is covered as well.
User Review - 8/10 by Dylan CI have a huge soft spot for this movie. It is Koji Suzuki's sequel to the Ring and a beautifully psychological thriller... or the book and manga were anyway. This is just kind of flat. But when I see my favorite scenes from the book on screen, I can't help but be insanely giddy.
User Review - 8/10 by John EI think this movie doesn't get nearly enough credit. I came in expecting something terrible, and wound up watching a movie I'd put right up there with ringu itself. It's not the same kind of movie, but it's just as good. Think snowcrash with ghosts.
User Review - 8/10 by Andrew CThis was a very disturbing movie, but I enjoyed every second of it. Definetly one of the best films of the series.
User Review - 8/10 by Chris Bi consider this moive as its own sequel so i dont compare it t the book, and for its own sequel, its pretty good
User Review - 8/10 by Pekky MI actually do like it. It could have been better, but I don't find it as bad as others.
User Review - 6/10 by Jennie RSequel to "Ringu". It turns WAY left from the storyline & keeps going. It started off interesting but kept getting weirder as it went on. Although it is loosely related to the horror of "Ringu", it is not horror. It lacked the creepy that many Japanese horror movies contain. Okay to see for something different but otherwise you arent missing anything.
