The rustler's step-daughter goes to the assistance of the sheriff, by delivering a note to his deputies. The sheriff is overpowered, but the posse arrives in time to save him. Gale sacrifices the freedom of her father for the love and friendship of the sheriff. A happy ending and a new life is her reward.
