Movie Reviews

Film Threat - 9/10 by Amy R. HandlerSimultaneously heartbreaking and hilarious, Shaun Kosta's debut feature film, The Republic of Two, is a monumental study of a relationship's ups, downs and everything in between.
The Playlist - 6/10 by Nikola GrozdanovicFirst-time feature writer-director Shaun Kosta tackles romance with both reason and heart in mind and you can't help but respect that kind of reach for truth.
User Review - 10/10 by Cate DI think the two leads will have great careers because of this film! Excited to see what they and the writer/director does next! Also - dope music! Menomena in the opening of the film - that alone gave me my money's worth!
User Review - 10/10 by Kyle TI saw this in New Orleans - it was the only film that got in here that seemed to not have any connection to our city - which made me wonder how it got in - like it must be good. It's the first movie from my generation that I've seen that really shows how much guys truly deal with in relationships. At the same time, I think it shows that we are just as complicated as women... and how much the score is always getting evened out when you are truly in love. I think everyone should see this, it's real. Makes you think for sure but it's also got a bunch of little funny lines in it, tons of little things (moments) that big movies never have - if you pay attention you'll have fun with this one.
User Review - 10/10 by Bobbi II feel like this movie was written about the relationship I had in my twenties... the first time I lived with someone. Looking back, it seems like we were still kids, growing up together, instead of the adults we thought we were. We were best friends. This movie makes me feel so understood, because that girl is still a big part of me - and I imagine every woman. I bet guys feel the same way about Tim - the lead guy character. This is one of those films whose characters will stick with you... I feel like I might walk past them on the street one day. I wish I could. I want to know how they are doing. Silly, I know - but my suspension of disbelief was irreversibly hammocked by these great performances, and obviously talented writing/directing. Truly impressive for a little indie! A must-see and refreshing escape from the processed meat of Hollywood romantic comedies. Let's hope this film inspires more filmmakers to be so organic and raw!
User Review - 10/10 by Catherine DHeartstring-tugger, laugh-launcher, mental-motion-maker, stunner.
User Review - 10/10 by Charlie CThis film is crazy, the good kind of crazy. It gets under your skin and makes you tick. I gotta say, it affected me. You wouldn't guess it from the fact that it's a small indie but it packs a lot of heat!
