France, 1942. Even during the war, when the country was occupied by German troops, the life of students of the Catholic college went on as usual. Didier, who secretly knits blankets for French soldiers, having received a letter from two girls from a nearby college, decides to go on a date with his friend Bernard, a rather frivolous teenager.
