Jam! MoviesLiz BraunYou wouldn't expose a teenager to this, that's for sure, but the storytelling is so ham-handed that few adults would sit still for it.
User ReviewNathan SExcellent film!!
User ReviewJY SA French science fiction animation comes in the form of The Prodigies, from Antoine Charreyron.Coming in at just under 90 minutes, the story behind The Prodigies comes up light. The concept of the film starts off well, but things quickly become rushed as characters don't get enough buildup, all the while the story keeps pushing along; probably why the run time is as short as it is.Not exactly going for top notch graphics, this animation still delivers visually. The stylized action sequences are amusing and the more adult oriented material and violence help to hide the flaws in the writing. There isn't much to fault in the voice acting, although some of the major characters say very little when compared to others. For the most part it is Jeffrey Evan Thomas providing most of the dialogue. While The Prodigies does hold the potential to be a fantastic movie, it never fully matures into one. Still, it is a watchable animation for older audiences.
