But they haven't taken account of life. In fragments of that modest life, we see how, slowly but surely, the cracks arise. Because maybe the two started living together a little too early. Her desire to have children conflicts with his taciturn nature and fear of commitment. Their young love is soon put to the test: While Rita wants a child, Mateo thinks things are moving a bit too quickly. When Mateo's attractive female cousin-in-law Alexis who sets his heart aflame comes along, emotions begin to escalate. She has a small daughter but also a shared history and flirty demeanor with Mateo, asking him whether Rita is just a summer fling like the guy she's brought over to her family's summer cottage.
