NewsBlazeKam WilliamsAn alternately jaw-dropping and lighthearted look at 21st Century mating habits as apt to leave you in stitches as in shock over the ever-evolving state of the human relating.
Los Angeles TimesKevin ThomasLee's young actors shine with talent and personality, but the film's gravitas lies in the wisdom and insight of Angela's loving father, so beautifully played by the distinguished veteran James Shigeta.
Hollywood ReporterFrank ScheckLargely devoid of the sex-farce style comic wit to which it aspires, the film is palatable largely because of the charm of lead actress Cheung.
Slant MagazineDiego SemereneThe People I've Slept With sells marriage as existential panacea and mature denouement.
Time OutAndrew SchenkerThe gallery of eccentric ex-lovers provides a few yuks, but the fact that the film's trajectory sees going from sexuality-owning independence to conventional respectability as a quantum leap is remarkably depressing, even if Angela's final resolve complicates such an easy progression.
Moving Pictures MagazineAnnlee EllingsonThe movie has an original hook, but the execution isn't original enough.
User ReviewTracey MThis movie is definitely for the open-minded. Ive read thru the reviews after watching it and noticed the traditional way of thinking for most Americans. I loved the movie. I loved the fact that this time its a woman casted as being the promiscuous one, and a strong person at that, who shows no shame for what she does. In a way, it can be reality (for those who think this type of stuff cant happen, think that its really not that big a deal or that its just not that hard....youre wrong). For those who stay stuck on wondering who the father is, take those blinders off and enjoy the film in its entirety. In my opinion...I give it 2 thumbs up!
