User Review - 8/10 by Holly FThe peeping is an explotation film. Not surprising it gets such low ratings for boring political crap, it really isn't an exciting or that good of a film. Reason I really liked it is due all to Daniel Wu's sexiness. (laugh) I just love watching him watch others. It's like my own Peep Show. Funny.
User Review - 4/10 by Jeff BIn 2002, while sort of still in his formative years as an actor, Daniel Wu obviously had the time to appear in pseudo-smut like Marco Mak's The Peeping, a flick with nude scenes so surgically doctored that it hardly deserves it's cat III rating. Mak is usually the guy summoned by folks like Wong Jing and Francis Ng when their own directorial cornucopia is empty, or perhaps to provide some structure and sense to movies that require some, but in The Peeping Mak goes completely off the hook all by himself. With it's awkward sex scenes and apparent lack of sexual tension, The Peeping fails miserably as an erotic thriller, but remains strangely watchable for it's unintentional comedy and outrageously exotic account of Taiwanese high society. Enjoy.
