Video-Reviewmaster.comSteve CrumGive me a Universal horror flick from the '50s any time, and include John Agar.
User ReviewCrystal CDon't think about it, just enjoy! I love this movie!
User ReviewPrivate USteenk, but fun steenk. Carol actually said, "Hey look it's Ward Cleaver."
User ReviewNathan MOne of the finest example of 50's schlock I have ever witnessed. You know you're in for a treat when a movie opens with a lecture about the mysteries of the earth's interior, followed by an opening shot letting you know the movie takes place in.... Asia!
User ReviewRussell Gan absolutely top notch entry into the 'B' sci-fi genre. Look for Alan Napier (Alfred from the Adam West Batman TV series)and the mole-man with the wristwatch... enjoy
User ReviewLloyd KGotta give it a 3 star rating...how can you not like a cast with John Aga and Hugh "Ward" Beaumont of " Leave it to Beaver" fame...lol...some decent effects but thin story line...I'd recommend this film for any fan of "B" movies...
User ReviewMichael BOne of Universals B-movie 50s SF flicks. Explorers find a lost civilization with a slave race of 'mole people'. Has an interesting intro citing other hollow earth theories.
User ReviewRoland Sclassic !!!! love this film , john agar is the man , its funny seeing hugh beaumount in a role other then ward cleaver hehe...
User ReviewRichard GMade in 1956.Archeologists go exploring in the mountains of Mesopatima, underground they discover a new world of Mutant Mole People and Sumerian Cults, they must escape this bizzare new world.Highly original Concept which works well for most of the film,it may not be one of the best Monster Moviews of the 50's but it still entertains and is an interesting watch.
User ReviewPatrick MWard Cleaver journeys to the center of the earth to do battle with a race of albinos living on mushrooms (I'm not kidding). This is science fiction at it's corny, campy best. I love this stuff (I'm not kidding). *Kudos to the makeup and special effects artists at Universal Studios. Not once did I notice a single zipper!
