Leave your thoughts about The Lonely Lady.
Ozus' World Movie ReviewsDennis SchwartzA true candidate for one of the worst films ever.
Chicago Sun-TimesRoger EbertIf The Lonely Lady had even a shred of style and humor, it could qualify as the worst movie of the year. Unfortunately, it's not that good.
The Moving Picture ShowJoe LeydonA relentlessly stupid, consistently unconvincing piece of hack work. Worse still, it's not even good, overproduced trash.
New York TimesJanet MaslinYou've got to say this much for Miss Zadora: she's got spunk.
User ReviewCurt MSuch a sleazy, tasteless piece of crap that is so bad it's beautiful. It's hard to make a film that is just wrong on every level but Peter Sasdy pulls it off. f you are bored with Showgirls, track this down on VHS and pray for a blu ray release with commentary someday.
User ReviewSean CA classic trash film and one of the queens of bad movies, the laughs are sparse, but heavy when they come, and the film grows ever dumber as time marches on (the first 1/3 is decent, the last part is craptastic). That shower scene killed me. Then there is the theme song.
User ReviewGreg WIt's poorly acted and directed. It goes by faster than a ticking time bomb. The screenplay is trashy and without any meaning. It's so bad that it's entertaining. Pia Zadora had guts when she made this movie, I tell ya! The scene where she gets "abused" by a garden hose gives it even more reason to see this! It's a trashy film that went unnoticed and it's not hard to see why!
User ReviewJeffrey GDon't let the one star deter you, I'm recommending that everyone see this. If nothing else but for the best use of a garden hose ever...by Ray Liotta no less.
