A young Franco-American woman goes to her ancestral home in France, for the chance to run into her German-American fiance, who has been shipped off to fight The Great War in France. Through bravery and wits, the two survive to eventually be shipped back to America to live and love the rest of their lives in peace. Again, Mary Pickford is extremely watchable. |
