With humankind brought to its knees after the inconceivable Shark Armageddon in Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (2017), the veteran shark hunter, Fin Shepard, finds himself in need of a bigger chainsaw. Stranded in a strange far-off land, Fin comes face-to-face with the unfathomable complications of the devastating Sharkzilla, as the unsteady leaps through time of an unexpected but dear traveller have breached the space-time continuum, setting in motion the ultimate rescue mission beyond the physical reality. As a result, Fin, and a handful of battle-hardened comrades-in-arms, have to harness the miracle of time and strike at the root of evil: the original Sharknado (2013), and Mother of all shark-infused vortices. Now, to make history, Fin must first rewrite history. Is the world prepared for the dawn of a new age, and the end of the last Sharknado?

Movie Reviews

Film Threat - 9/10 by Bobby LePireThe Last Sharknado: It's About Time is the second best in the series, and therefore the franchise ends on a high note.
We Live Entertainment - 7/10 by Fred TopelAside from sheer exhaustion at the overwhelming set pieces & shark puns, Fin and April and Nova did become endearing characters. They deserve the same kind of sendoff Rocky Balboa, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Jigsaw and Ellen Ripley got!
Shadows on the Wall - 6/10 by Rich ClineAt least the characters register, and the action is vaguely coherent within the total lack of logic.
rogercatlin.com - 5/10 by Roger CatlinWhat once was camp is now just atrocious.
ScreenRant - 4/10 by Kevin YeomanThe Last Sharknado is simply a collection of images and noises loosely cobbled together in a way that somehow makes them barely suitable for ironic viewing.
RogerEbert.com - 3/10 by Peter SobczynskiA film in which all the wit and ingenuity on hand appears to have been squandered on coming up with the title.
User Review - 10/10 by Tyler ETaken for what it is which is the Sharknado franchise, obviously this 5 star rating is not equal to a 5 star rating given to The Winter Soldier for example because they both need to be taken for what they are. The primary objective of entertainment is to entertain and be enjoyable and to me this film did absolutely that. While not as ridiculous in many ways as some other installments in the franchise, it was a very fun and enjoyable adventure, especially if you have followed the franchise so far. It was a great fan service to the entire series bringing back characters, stories and locations that tied it together in a great and wacky way. As mentioned, the film was certainly not as corny as other installments like The 4th Awakens and actually made a decent film that wasn't only fun because it is laugh-out-loud ridiculous. Again, especially if you are a fan of the series you owe it to yourself to watch the final chapter that really had a very nice conclusion honestly and was very pleased with it. I've had a large party at my house every year since the original and its actually sad to reach this end of an era with friends and family. As a franchise are they actually good, well written and acted films? Of course not. Are some films better than others? Very much. But between Global Swarming and now It's About Time these last 2 have been really a great time for a group of people who just want to kick back and not take life so seriously for a night. Very very pleased with it's conclusion and long live Sharknado!
User Review - 10/10 by Mateo QA bit boring in some parts but a magnificent ending to the franchise.
User Review - 8/10 by Chris%20 SHad great ideas and a fantastic time bending finally. It's not perfect I feel the first half of the movie could have been more over the top than it already was.
User Review - 8/10 by stu bEven more Celebrity Cameos, loved the "ending" (is it really the Last one?) and the speech Fin gave.
