User Review - 6/10 by Paul DOkay, story about a couple of highwaymen who discover a plot to kill King Charles II. I mostly watched this because I saw George Sanders in the credits, but sadly his role as the king was fairly small. There's some good production values and the film did pick up near the end once the plot to kill the king is uncovered, but this court intrigue story didn't really grab me. David Niven and Roger Moore both of whom played James Bond, also appear in the film.
User Review - 6/10 by Greg Wi just love george sanders too bad we don't have anyone 2 compare today
User Review - 4/10 by Kevin M. WSwashbuckling shenannigans in merry ol'England as Purdom leads a force against the power hungry, money hungry David Niven (!!!) in this heavily costumed though poorly setted Robin Hood knockoff. Roger Moore, long before his Bond days, is serviceable as one of the merry men and Sanders collects an easy paycheck as the oblivious king, happy with his coterie of small dogs.
