Entertainment WeeklyKaren ValbyAssuming you love animals — hell, even if you don’t — this is one of the best buddy movies ever made.
The New York TimesHoward ThompsonAbout as gentle, warm and lovely a color movie as any pet owner could wish at least, for the kids.
eFilmCritic.comScott WeinbergDisney's classic tale of doggy / kitty teamwork.
Antagony & EcstasyTim BraytonComes from a place that genuinely respects and loves dogs for being dogs and cats for being cats.
User ReviewKenneth Sthis is a great class Disney film!! I have it on VHS, somewhere.
User ReviewEllen LThis is the REAL Incredible Journey. None of that shoddy voice-over crap. I watched this like every friggin day as a kid. But the part with porcupine always scared me for reason. I think it was because I dreaded having to watch the golden retriever get the spines pulled out of his snout. Plus those old people were eerily reminiscent of my grandparents.
User ReviewPaul WThe only part I didn't like was when Tao the cat got swept away by the river. You can see the poor thing struggling to keep his head above the raging water. Throwing a cat into a rushing river for a movie should be classed as animal cruelty.
User ReviewJordan Wone of my favorite films when i was little
User ReviewSteve SLove this old classic (with no talking animals).
User ReviewPaul DI loved this movie as much as I loved The Adventures of Milo and Otis. I still love both movies.
