User ReviewMatthew BTotally funny movie ! Love it and recommend anyone who has sense of humpy to watch it !
User ReviewArvindra JI loved it. It was my first R rated movie (I'm 10)
User ReviewBayly HThey mock Hollywood for lacking creativity and make some remarks and references throughout regarding the actual state of affairs on earth (although these are just for stance to give you perspective) , but most of it is authentically adventurous and funny (at last), it takes a creative and sometimes original approach, which makes it all worth while. Good movie!
User ReviewMues HThe best spoof movies that I ever seen. The film's structure, the performances of the main characters, the cut and the takes of the scenes are better than the others. However, the dirty jokes make the movie less favorable to the main stream. But we should not compared a spoof movie to others. In my opinions, it's better than the hangover 2 and 3.
User ReviewMuffin MAfter Doug's (John Livingston) bachelor party in a rundown motel outside of Las Vegas, our hung-over partiers, Bradley (Ross Nathan), Ed (Ben Begley), and Zach (Herbert Russell) wake up in a strange room in an even stranger world... without Doug. After meeting the spoiled and immature Effing (Tara Reid) and the gruff, alcoholic Justmitch (Jamie Kennedy), our heroes put the pieces together and realize they are on a train headed for the deadly Hungover Games. It's a fight for survival in the Arena as our guys go toe to toe against various Pop Culture Districts, including The Superhero District, The Middle Earth District, the Puppet District, and the Johnny Depp District. Will Bradley, Ed, and Zach find Doug and get him back for the wedding? also stars Rita Volk, Caitlin Wachs, Sophie Dee, Con Schell, Mark Harley and Steve Sobel. directed by Josh Stolberg.
User ReviewGal EThis movie is the worst kind of parody. It is messy, poorly planned, badly written, and like most parodies, it is missing crucial parts of the plot. So why would you watch it? Because it fits into a unique category - it's so bad that it's good. This movie mocks the Hunger games and the Hangover series. It seems that this is the only reason why this movie was written, directed, produced and shot. And it serves well the purpose it was created for. The cast is sub-par, though I would say Russel and Volk (Margarita Volkovinskaya if you insist) save the day, sort of. Volk, in the role of the forbidden fruit, joint with the fact she acts far better than the more experienced Jennifer Lawrence, and portrays a bizarre, yet more believable Katniss (or Katnip in this case) is an excellent casting choice. She maintains the concept of jail-bate in a dystopia, and she does it well. Russel plays a sort of mad hatter, which I personally enjoyed. The plot is poorly structured from the start, and the story is a silly combination of two other movie series. As far as The Hunger Games go, this parody is just a fun way to laugh at the production. As far as the Hangover trilogy goes, I would rather have this as the third movie. Which in fact is terrible. The combination of ridiculous characters fighting senselessly, irrational nudity, poorly delivered violence, and quite a few good looking women, is perhaps not worthy of an Oscar. But it is a fun way to spend hour and a half. Better than quite a few movies I'd like to forget. The fact of the matter is, I actually watched twice a movie that got some of the lowest rankings ever, and was destroyed in the box office. So I think a B+ is a fair grade for this fun parody.
User ReviewMichael HMy Consensus: The Hungover Games is a parody I think people will actually like. Hitting most of the key scenes and making some actual high brow jokes, you also will actually care about the characters, their goals and what happens. 84/100 B
User ReviewJacob KA better spoof movie than I originally thought working together to be in my opinion better than the more recent spoof movies.
User ReviewNieka RThe story was very slow and cast was average!
