Leave your thoughts about The Hotel New Hampshire.
eFilmCritic.comAndrew HoweVeers between brilliance and banality with an almost manic enthusiasm.
Video-Reviewmaster.comSteve CrumErratic failure of comedy featuring Jodie Foster, Beau Bridges.
EmpireDavid ParkinsonA brave effort from Richardson with another outstanding performance from Foster.
TV Guide MagazineJack KrollLike the novel, the movie means to be trendy but it is out of touch, though not exactly out of date. It has no recognizable center of interest, no anchor for our attention. It's a series of whoopee-cushion gags...More than anything else, The Hotel New Hampshire is exhausting.

User ReviewBarry Lif you've ever lived in the counrty you'll have a bit of an understanding of this 'family' of people, all seeking answers, outcomes and resolutions - never communicating properly but each having a deep and fulfilling commitment and understanding of each others needs. Challenges concepts and ideals, explores fixed (at that time) thinking and moves forward beautifully...but as with most 'families' there's always miscommunication and, somehow, between themselves things get missed and things become confused....keep walking passed the open windows!!
User ReviewEleanor HBased on a book by John Irving. This is a brilliant if weird film based on an even better book. So good dispite the shudder inducing parts...lets just say im glad rob lowe's not my brother!!!

User ReviewMatt WThis film is chock full of every type of freak and misfit you can imagine. The family the film focuses on have without doubt the worst luck in the world. Despite the often harrowing story line, you never feel down and there are plenty of funny and heart warming moments. One of my favourite films of all time, also read the book if you get a chance.
