User ReviewAmy CFirst of all let me declare that Daniel Wu is one handsome dude! When I went asked for this film at the Asian video library the guy thought I was nuts. 'This is not nice film. I wait and wait for film to come but it did not come!' he said. Daniel Wu is a clever chap too. To choose such a genre for a directorial debut (it is, right?) takes lots of confidence. I would like to believe it was deliberately shot like that. It has some very funny moments and the entire subtext is about how we sell our souls. Seriously recommended.
User ReviewSyL L4 stars. between real and fake. a good attempt in hk movie industry.
User ReviewKaterina SI enjoyed this film, showed how fickle being a HK celebrity really is.
User ReviewHill SMocumentary much like Spinal Tap. Pokes at every angle of the music industry that is not cornered to just the HK music industry. Not as good as I expected but still funny enough for a laugh. I loved the stylist they hired. Complete with gay assistant in a cut off midriff and holding a Paris Hilton type dog. Perfect.
User ReviewPrivate UI found this movie very funny and different from what's out there. Really worth a watch
