Then, two hideous monsters appear on either side of the bed and frighten the man out of his wits before disappearing. And that is not all. The bed disappears too, as does a table. The guest becomes frantic, as he attempts again and again to sit down; but the chair constantly vanishes before he can be seated. All of a sudden, it goes flying around the room, the man still sitting in it, before landing once more. The same chair then multiplies itself into a bunch of chairs, all in a row; and when the man sits in them, he discovers he can ride along them along the line (and later, in a circle). These inanimate hauntings then surround the astounded guest, trapping him.
