Under the mistaken impression that his pet hamster, Abu (Johnny Vega), is ill, Harry Hill (Harry Hill) and his Nan (Dame Julie Walters) take him to the vet, who wrongly gives them the tragic news that Abu has one week to live. Harry, who thinks he speaks fluent hamster (but, in fact, misunderstands every squeak that comes out of his little pal's mouth), incorrectly thinks Abu's dying wish is a trip to Blackpool. With Nan making three, the trio embark on a road trip to the seaside town. Unbeknownst to them, the vet is actually the dirty rotten henchman of Harry's evil twin brother Otto (Matt Lucas), who was raised separately by Alsatians. Addicted to hula hoops and fuelled by revenge, Otto's nefarious plot is to kidnap Abu and make him the centerpiece of the plastinated hamster world he's creating in his evil lair. Can Harry and Nan stop Otto before it's too late?

Movie Reviews

Birmingham Mail - 6/10 by Graham YoungThe Happy Pill Movie would more accurately describe what is a uniquely British and deliriously silly excuse to sit back eating pick 'n' mix toffees as garishly coloured as Harry's house.
Time Out - 6/10 by Tom HuddlestonThis has big laughs (if not nearly enough of them) and wild ideas - provided you're tuned into Hill's idiosyncratic brand of slyly subversive, surreally silly seaside slapstick.
Movie Talk - 4/10 by Jason BestViewers who don't care for Hill's brand of wacky madness probably won't make it past the opening mobility-scooter race... but even fans will have to admit that the story runs out of gas long before the Blackpool Tower looms into view.
Screen International - 4/10 by Mark AdamsA broad and resolutely silly film that has moments of oddball pleasure but in the end feels like an extended series of skits that eventually run out of steam.
Total Film - 2/10 by Neil SmithAwash with silliness - gun-toting chickens, performing Dachshunds, Jim Broadbent in charlady drag - yet weirdly bereft of mirth ...

User Review - 10/10 by Luke BIf you don't understand Harry Hill, don't see this movie. If you are a fan of his "TV Burp" or his stand up, then you will adore this. It is Harry Hill at his finest. Not once was I bored or wishing it was finished like many films of recent times! A must see for any Harry Hill fan!
User Review - 10/10 by Martin EIt was not just a pretty good British flick (that I went to see on my 13th birthday party - of course, it was on Saturday - in the cinema with my school mates), but an awesome British comedy legend! Harry Hill and Julie Walters just kick the magic into it and its hilarious with The Magic Numbers "BnB" Number and of course the finale You got The Love (from the Coca Cola choir advert), you should see it when it comes out on DVD!!!! You'll wet your ass laughing right till the very end!!!!!!!!
