Los Angeles TimesGary GoldsteinSumptuous visuals, vivid emotional beats and memorable turns by Bichevin and Hoeks effectively compensate for the verbal sparseness.
Time OutKeith UhlichIt’s unfortunate that Stelling and his cast aren’t able to lift the story much above mawkishness.
NPRTomas HachardThere's no sense that the film recognizes its own absurd elements.

User ReviewDebra PI loved this movie! Deeply moving story about the passion of youth, the lasting connection between destiny and earthly time. I put this third in my favorite movies this year: The Grand Budipest Hotel, Birdman and The Girl and Death. If this had a Julia Roberts American star, this movie would be getting a lot more attention. That said, timelessness is poetic only in the hearts of lovers. Aliens, zombies, robots and horror geeks won't find a moment to grab here--athough it is a story locked in the ghosts of a lost path, which still has earthly intrigue to those who know its truths. The actors in this piece are all perfection.
