Fox, having decided to punish the gray robber, sent the Hare to the Wolf. By his greed, the Wolf took a finding for a valuable thing and was punished for it. Once trapped, the Wolf rushes through the forest, destroying the house taken away from Badger. At the end of the film Badger helps the Wolf to remove the trap, in gratitude for this the Wolf "generously" returns to the savior his own destroyed house.
