Full Plot Details

The paranoid registrant administrator of the Department of Public Safety Erroll Babbage is forced to an early retirement due to his abusive behavior against the sex offenders that he should monitor, and shall spend his last 18 days training his replacement Allison Lowry. When the 17-year-old Harriet Wells is considered missing in his area of work, Errol is convinced that her disappearance is related to one of his parole sex offenders. However, his superiors do not believe on his investigations and he convinces Allison to follow him in the sick underworld of pornography and perversions trying to find the missing girl.

To think that someone sick has done something like this to our Lisa Brown is disgusting. I can see myself one day finding out the truth and learned something new this break that may bring us one step closer.

Some of these "reviewers" merely look at it as a horror film and complain re the length movie uses to build characters, when in actuality it deals with what occurs in real life as terrible deeds unknown to the stupid public. So you are turned on by SM images? Well what do you think of THIS, asshole, so says the movie in showing the ultimate conclusion of some pursuing this life. I was so affected by this film because of what a psychologist friend told me about those who commit such crimes that he has to deal with: For every such crime you read in the paper, 90% do not get reported. What the newspapers fail to mention is what the monster(s) do BEFORE the victim dies. Incidentally he saw this film and thought it very, very good.

Barnes This film is about a hyper-vigilant employee of the department of public safety who, while training his young female replacement, has to track down a missing girl who he is convinced is connected to a paroled sex offender he is investigating. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wow. I put off watching this movie for the simple fact of what its about. But I love Richard Gere and Claire Danes so I had to watch it sometime. It was really good. Richard Gere's character is insane. But not in a bad way. He is totally obsessed with his job, and is really good at too. Claire Danes comes on to replace him but ends up being his partner in crime. I read some of the reviews before watching this movie, and some people were wanting to watch this just for Avril Lavigne being in it. So I wouldn't watch it just for her, considering she's in the entire movie for like a few minutes and I don't even think she said anything, just giggled. So, no real acting from her. Anyways, the movie is really good, and knowing that the subject this movie is about is hard for some people to watch (including me), I will say it is one that shouldn't be looked past just for that reason. It's heartbreaking and at times hard to hear what some of these pervs did, but I thought the story was well played out, and the ending was great.
