From London's dens of vice, to Newgate jail to Australia's prison shores, Ikey takes us on a journey into crime, punishment, adventure and love whilst struggling against the transportation system of 19th century England.

This Doco-drama is a fascinating look at this convict's life in crime, punishment and journey across the seas between England and the colony of Van Dieman's Land/Tasmania. Confidently retold using mainly drama to authentically reconstruct the period of the early 19th century. Accompanied by Miriam Margolyes voice over, this film is a fascinating look at an unknown historical tale thats sure to impress anyone. |
