Movie Reviews

User Review - 8/10 by Byron BExcellent documentary about a fascinating woman in American history. Well made, great narration and great film clips, well edited together. Always interesting and it gives the viewer a deep understanding of Eleanor Roosevelt.
User Review - 4/10 by Graceann MEleanor was a fascinating woman, but this was shot too close to her passing to have any real insight into that fact. I much prefer more recent documentaries on her life.
User Review - 2/10 by Jim HThis Oscar winning documentary profiles the First Lady and humanitarian crusader. While I admit that I learned a lot I never would have known without this film, I nevertheless think this film is merely propaganda. It lauds Roosevelt incessantly, and the few criticisms it levels are quickly tempered. Overall, this feels more like a eulogy than a documentary.
