This sequel reveals a sympathetic side to the creature and shallow as it is some depth to his personality. I could see a lot of potential in this for a very dark satirical comedy. In my opinion this is the best of the creature films. |

It's actually quite a moving story, and the characters are more interesting here than in the previous film. As a previous reviewer commented, this is very much the ALIEN 3 of the CREATURE films and like that overlooked entry, this final Gill Man picture is well-worth a second look. Lastly, as part of Universal's excellent MONSTER LEGACY series, THE CREATURE WALKS AMONG US dvd boasts a remarkably pristine transfer sure to please fans of these legendary horror classics.[/b] |
