The New York TimesTom BuckleyThe Cat From Outer Space, is likely to keep the under-14's amused, at least if supplemented by plenty of popcorn.
| Empire MagazineIan NathanClearly not a |Disney classic as almost no-one has heard of it, this is vaguely enjoyable 70s hokum. |
Radio TimesAlan JonesApart from the cat's "wonder collar" that levitates people and places them in suspended animation, plus some climactic daredevil stuntwork, it's a pretty uninspired juvenile romp.
User ReviewKobi TOhhhhhh, dear god, this movie was so amazing...everyone must see it...everyone loves movies with cats in them...and everyone loves movies with aliens in them.... Movie producers realized this. Hence "The Cat From Outer Space". Alien cats...what more could you ask for. I'm not joking people, this is a must-see. The plot was so good, ET was based off of it. No joke..look it up.

User ReviewBedford CPretty much purr-fect. If you like MASH, both of the C.O.s have prominent roles in the film.
User ReviewJoel HIt may not have any cinematic merit, but it is so fun. And I always dream of having a talking cat !
User ReviewAdam RIt's a great film. One of Ken Berry's best work since F Troop.
User ReviewJohn FWatched it last night again for the first time in 25 years probably. I thought it was brilliant then and I think it is less brilliant now, but I enjoyed every minute of it.
User ReviewIan LPure quality , maybe the finest film ever made . Jake the cat is alive and well and living in Sheffield .
