| User ReviewJohn AThis combines numerous story elements for which Ford had an affinity--the sea, the military, brawling, parades, and even a funeral. Alas, Janet Gaynor only appears three or four times through the film, but she lights up the screen whenever she shows up. The overall story is pretty pedestrian, though it may have been hindered a bit by a missing scene of an attack at sea. |
