User Review - 8/10 by Juliana MThis cult flick from '59 did lack some good narrative at parts but you can not help but feel and embrace the meaning and the mood of the movie. It is dark and amazing but the end is a little cliche.
User Review - 6/10 by Wes SMill Creek's 50 Movie Pack: Chilling Classics Reviews THE BLOODY BROOD [1959]: A mildly entertaining 1959 Beatnik schlock-fest which was the onscreen debut of Peter Falk (of COLOMBO & A WOMAN UNDER THE INFLUENCE [1974] fame). THE BLOODY BROOD sees Falk's Character and his fellow crazed murderous Beat freaks murder a young telegram delivery boy. This then leads to the older brother of the deceased boy who comes after them. Decent acting from a talent young Falk and a decent script with typical Beatnik stereotypes makes it worthy of a 60%.
User Review - 4/10 by vittorio cThe beat generation takes another hit, with Peter Falk and friends killing a kid by serving him a hamburger laced with ground glass. A fine companion piece to A BUCKET OF BLOOD, beware of beatniks if there are any still around.
User Review - 4/10 by Justin Wa pretty boring semi-mafia movie. peter falk is here in a very early role. if you don't know peter falk, he was columbo and also the grandfather in the princess bride. the story is decent at least and the acting is surprisingly good. it's basically only a good watch if you have nothing else to do.
