Jeff Burton (Dennis O'Keefe), young prizefighter, stops in Brimstone, Arizona on his way home to San Diego from New Jersey, after the stagecoach he was ring in was held up by Trigger Bill (Wallace Berry), outlaw boss of Brimstone.
