User ReviewJames CAn absolute classic. Enjoyed this film as a child and still do today. Great performances. Especially from Diana Dors. Magical.
User ReviewMark GMy favourite movie of all time. It's a brilliant picture that I've seen countless times, and still I come back to it, like a duffel coat you should have grown out of, but still love to put on from time to time. Warm and loving, and strangely moving for a kids novel. Diana Dors is great as Mrs Whickens, and the rest of the kids handle their roles admirably. I still cry at the ending.
User ReviewCatherine DReminds me of my child hood and I still love it today! Managed to pick it up on DVD. It also sparked my fascination with the paranormal!
