Leave your thoughts about The Ages of Love.
Daily News EgyptMyriam GhattasA romantic comedy that entertains but fails to leave a lasting impression.
User ReviewDave CThree charming and amusing stories about love as you age. In the end genuinely touching during the much mentioned de Niro strip tease. If you liked the previous two films you really ahve to see this one which I actually preferred.
User ReviewI-Onell SPrimera pelÃcula donde de niro habla es en italiano, un tema de diferentes tipo de amor, historias entrelazadas entre si, no es como para un oscar pero se puede ver
User ReviewNatalia MHaven't seen the first two, but that doesn't seem to be necessary. Three stories, somehow connected, tell us about three different couples of different ages: 'youth', 'maturity' and 'the beyond'. They are no ordinary couples and that's what makes it different from other 'kaleidoscop' movies like "Real love". And the striptease performed by DeNiro ('the beyond' story) is genuinely touching.
User ReviewTimothy RIs charming in parts but is mostly quite mediocre. It has been compared to 'Love, Actually" but it is nowhere near as good. Robert De Niro was surprisingly good and Monica Bellucci was as lovely as ever.
User ReviewNick WEnjoyable, some funny movements with a good cast and some outstanding eye candy, though it seemed quite overdone in places and some story angles that needed to be explored more. Beautifully shot, it just lacks in places that could make it a very good film.
User ReviewDomna KSo I may have come late to this trilogy and as a result may have been lost in the zone of unknowingness at times, but I felt betrayed by the whole thing, particularly the trailer, which smacked of romance and general comforting Italianess (plus Bellucci and de Niro are only part of one short story at the end of the film FYI!!). But this turns out to be a slapstick comedy, which, granted, will provide some side-splitting moments, but on the whole, becomes an incomprehendable, confusing and chessy mess. Now not to be a cynical prick about it, (and I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it's JUST a vehicle for de Niro to impress with his new-found ability to speak the mother language) and I did enjoy moments in it but it just doesn't endear me to cross the cultural divide and embrace the modernity of 'sexy' Italy right at this moment (I would gladly embrace Monica Bellucci anyday though!). Having said that it will be popular no doubt.
User ReviewCinara Bianca OI liked the first part somewhat and that's why I kept watching the movie. But it went on to be predictable and even boring at times. And then, along came Monica... (sigh)
User ReviewHytham EPerfect for a calm afternoon if you're willing to relax!
User ReviewMa'ark Ti precedenti erano carini... questo... mah... forse il peggior film di De Niro... :-/
