Louis and Temple are sent from their home with lunch for their father, who is out in the woods cutting lumber. On their way home they are chased by wolves and treed. When the Marshal gets home and discovers the boys' absence, he starts to search for them, and finding them up a tree attacks the wolves barehanded, doing the famous wolf catch which Col.
