To keep him off she insists her husband must be an opera singer, so he is easily duped by Ierra, who hits on with Gina himself and ships Lupo off to his Italian cahoot, musical teacher Marcello, for lessons- actually he is so bad that even the dog runs off, and after they bribe the local opera to give him a tiny part, the sound-tortured audience chases him for his life. He passes out but is found and taken in by a winegrowers family, which gives him confidence and a killer voice...

| User ReviewRobert HAlthough the production values are a little primitive and the film seems more like something from the 60s not 2002 I found it enjoyable and even heartwarming in a very nostalgic sort of way. Rodney Dangerfield was perfect for this role. |
| User ReviewWade WI really did enjoy this movie, it could have been made in 1988 and no one would have even known the difference. And trust me thats a good thing. Plus, an 80 year old Rodney Dangerfield is the love interest for a girl who is anywhere between 25 and 30! That in itself makes this movie worth watching. |

| User ReviewPrivate USuccesful attempt at a cheesy 80's comedy. Not Dangerfields best work, but certainly worth watching. If nothing else for the elegant post-9/11 escapism reminiscent of Italian movies during the Moussolini era. |
| User ReviewMaria BI love Rodney Dangerfield but this one was very, very ordinary. Some bits were funny but they are a long way apart. The story line is very typical to the point you know exactly what is going to happen long before it does. Rodney's famous 1 liners are also very few and far between. |
