"Tere Bin Laden" is a tongue-in-cheek comedy about an ambitious young news reporter from Pakistan who is desperate to migrate to the US in pursuit of the American dream. His repeated attempts to immigrate are shot down as his visa is always rejected. But when things couldn't look worse he comes across an Osama bin Laden look alike. | User Reviewjigsaw jI had forgotten the power of laughter for some days. Then I accidentally came across this movie on cable. I hadn't laughed so much over a movie. Definitely one of the most hilarious. It is easy to spew venom on terrorists. By doing so we are taking on their own mentality and giving them more power. But when you laugh at them, what defense do they have? I wish there can be more such humorous films poking fun at terrorism. |

| User ReviewIndiana BA little gem, its enthusiasm is infectious, and the wit sharp, honest and surprisingly heart-warming. Could not stop smiling throughout. The actor who played Noora / Bin Laden stole every scene he got with his lovely, quirky personality, the perfect foil to the grim, severe alter-ego his character unwittingly came to impersonate. They had some impressive special effects too, most memorable being those involving roosters... and one drumstick. If the whole world were to adopt such a light-hearted outlook, there would be no wars. |
