| User ReviewLaurence CJoyfully ironic and most of the time of a truthful ring, Surviving My Mother is an engrossing and biting enough commentary on the guilt caused by a distancing relationship. While the final result has trouble shifiting from comedy to drama in some spots, there is enough humor and heart to guarantee an enjoyable viewing experience, capped with some sharp performances by Ellen David, Caroline Dhavernas and Louison Danis. |

I think I may watch it again simply because some part of me wonders why I didn't enjoy it more. There were some nice moments, and some very comedic ones. For a non-hollywood film, I suppose it is not bad at all. |
