| User ReviewMike MAnother of L&H's silent shorts with not a single bowler hat in sight, and where the roles attached to the leads still hadn't been set in stone - a bit like reading Shakespeare's teenage journal rather than "Hamlet": obviously interesting, if not yet the real thing... As Ollie and a dolled-up Stan dance an awkward foxtrot, and later take a turn around a funhouse, we start to see the pair's physical rhythms coming into focus; we even get the first documented use of the phrase "a fine mess" in these shorts - though it's typical of the topsy-turvy universe we're in that it should be "spoken" (as it were) by a suddenly sensible Stan to Finlayson. |
