Sly FoxKam Williams50 Cent and Val Kilmer deserve kudos galore for cultivating a convincing chemistry in this well-concealed whodunit which takes you on a relentlessly-raw, rollercoaster ride certain to satiate the bloodlust of fans of the high body-count genre.
DVDTalk.comBrian OrndorfA kindergarten cop thriller encrusted with insufferable New Orleans location accents, Blood proves that it wasn't the script that convinced Kilmer to accept this role, but likely the Creole catering.
Urban CinefileAndrew L. UrbanAll in all, a devil of a cocktail for an evening's bullet ridden entertainment
Filmcritic.comJason McKiernana direct-to-video Festival of the Absurd so over-the-top, so incompetently made, so lacking in decent taste and common sense that the only thing missing to keep it from late-night Skinemax is a couple of sleazy softcore sex scenes
User ReviewJuan SSomebody please give 50 Cent a Oscar! That mans also a acting Genius!
User Reviewhunter iGreat movie, the cast were actually good at acting, and 50cent did a great job of acting in this movie, he's gotten better at it now. This movie is very awesome, it satisfy me, because it's actually an A+.
User ReviewDavid MGood Movie, story of New Orleans after the flood.....crime, drugs, stealing.....sounds like detroit
User ReviewLauren MI liked it being from the area and knowing how New Orleans was before Katrina and then afterwards. It makes you think about how crooked the cops really are out there!
User ReviewMahmood HA wicked film, lots and lots of action...and none of it is far fetched, infact it is a most likely a true to life film with very strong acting from 50 cent (Who I actually hate) but most of all Sharon Stone. Not Val kilmers best performance but nether-the-less a good one. Tells the tale of corrupt police fighting corrupt police and the increased crime rate in memphis after some heavy looting in the state of memphis just after hurricane katrina hit. The cops are heroic and instead of waiting for call ins and stuff they know they have to bring the fight to the criminals if they're to stand a chance..but everytime they get close to the greaseball kingpin dude warrant and stuff are rejected! You kinda have to define whose the good guys and whose the bad guys in this one because even the good guys do a lotta bad shit in this film! I liked the way sharon stone fitted into this film as the shrink (a very important role), she displays it although her profession was a shrink but still displays her on screen charm. Would highly recommend it!
User ReviewJeremygreat movie not too happy on the ending but at least it had one!
