Leave your thoughts about Stone Bros..
Unknown2Giles HardieStone Bros isn't a worthy or important, topical film. All it wants is for you to laugh, and there's no doubt that you will.
MoviedexAnders WotzkeWon't burst through the comedic stratosphere, but Stone Bros. is still a trip worth taking.
Empire Magazine AustralasiaBen McEachenHarold And Kumar Go To Kalgoorlie? A cruisey comedy you'll like to like, even when the buzz flickers.
Concrete PlaygroundAlice TynanWhile some of the comedy is a bit brash and silly, Stone Bros. definitely succeeds in using humour to communicate some home truths.
User ReviewJohn WHave watched this flick a few times now and each time I do I end up liking it more.
User Reviewjohn nThis is a mish mash and seem to tries to be 'Priscilla' in some ways but doesn't hit the right chord. I felt the racial and spiritual aspects of the film were overplayed with little depth and lacked poignancy. It didn't play the sociopathic card well enough in an ironic way (aka Beavis and Butthead) so feel all of the things it could be it wasn't. I guess ultimately I was cheering for a film from an Aboriginal perspective that would make me laugh, take me on a journey and leave me thinking.... maybe next time
User ReviewRod Sdoesnt have the intelligence or wit of cheech and chong
User ReviewJanine GThis film can be looked at in two ways... A serious dramady trying to push home some harsh truths around race in Aus.... or a stoner comedy/road trip... Either way it fails at both. It needs to be re-shot as one or the other. as it stand it seems like a cheap cheech and chong rip off.
User ReviewGrant SVery lame, even by low stoner / road-trip movie standards.
