10 years ago, architecture student Ginny (Toni Gonzaga) and history professor Marco (Piolo Pascual) began a one-of-a-kind, unpredictable love story. In their five years together, they brought out the best in each other, including Marco's unrealized dream of becoming a chef. Together they worked toward their dream of opening a restaurant, but when Ginny realized that her own pursuits were different from his, she rejected his marriage proposal and left the country to work on her Masters degree in Architecture. Now she co-owns a one-stop Architecture and Interior Design firm specializing in Restoration. She receives an email from Marco, which was written and sent after their breakup and meant to be read four years later; it makes her regret ever more that she left the love of her life. When their firm receives an offer to renovate an old house into a restaurant, she is ecstatic to learn that Marco will co-own that restaurant. She takes this as a sign that this will be their second chance, then finds out that Marco wants the restaurant ready for his marriage proposal to his US-based girlfriend Patty De Guia (Iza Calzado). This doesn't stop Ginny from accepting the project in the hopes of winning back Marco, who is now very different. When he learns her motives, he plays along to push her regrets and show that he is much better now. But their actions take a toll on them when they talk about the past, feelings get involved, and Patty gets suspicions about them. Can mistakes and wrong decisions be undone to give way to a second chance? Will Ginny get her happy ending with Marco, or is she four years too late?

I'll love you in a different way now." one of the most memorable quote from the movie and it brings me loads of tears. The movie gives me a lot to think about. a lot of courage to face the reality. and most importantly, like the movie title, learn to start all over again! |

| User ReviewKristelle E*** This review may contain spoilers *** Valentine's is celebrated every February 14 but in Philippines, it is celebrated as soon as the month of February came. It is a month long celebration. As this month enters, a newly love-themed movie will enter the cinema stage. And for this year, 2014, it's STARTING OVER AGAIN turn. Now, Is this a must-have movie? Honestly, for me, I won't recommend it and label it as one but it doesn't mean it's awfully made. Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual and even Iza Calzado were very good in this movie. But remarkably, Iza Calzado outshines Gonzaga's acting prowess. What makes this movie interesting and fun is Gonzaga's comical nature. She looked good with her character and as an acting partner of Piolo Pascual, but it didn't really fits her perfectly. I am quite picky with things and with this kind of film, the main female character must have an equal grip for drama and comedy. If the scene is drama they should make it 'drama' if it's comedy they should make it 'comedy', but with Gonzaga's striking humour, they won't make the foundation solid. Now, about the story, it is very amazing, strikingly amazing. Though, they didn't end up together in a happy ending kind of ending, they both ended up happy with their current partners. As for Ginny's(Toni) search for her 'forever' partner, it's quite funny how her previous on-screen partners like, Vhong Navarro and Luis Manzano, appeared in this movie. Also, what made the viewers feel chills, is when her real life's fiancée/boyfriend come into play and mark the story's ending. This film is entertaining and good. If you pay to watch this, you'll never regret it. |
