Common Sense MediaBarbara ShulgasserHigh school rape, teen drinking in intense movie.
User ReviewBen CThis is my favorite book of all time. The movie is amazing as well, all though they do leave out some of my favorite parts. Kristen Stewart plays this part amazingly.
User Reviewmaggie jThis is one movie based upon a novel that stayed true to the story. It keeps viewers glued to their seats wanting to know what happens. Truely a great movie. A must see for drama lovers and high school students.
User Reviewmegan kI found this movie perfect in its portrayal of high school in America, although the same could be said of school in England. Kristen Stewart's performance is perfect . The portrayal of a rape victim is heart warming with her performance of Melinda Sordino who does not speak much at all in the film, while the story is mainly told through her thoughts with observant commentary. Overall this movie is moving to the feelings of sadness, but the outcome of her character is so uplifting that you feel euphoric almost at her change of strength over what had happened to her. Perfect.
User Reviewangieit is a great movie and its very intresting
User ReviewFootie KAmazing. And so close to the book, in the movie you can actually feel pain from Kristen (as how she portrays Melinda).

User Reviewkerry mThis is one of the most amazing movies ever. It is a shame that it was only put on T.V and that not many people know of it. Kristen Stewart is wonderful. Over all it is an excellent film and conveys a powerful message. I saw this movie when I was about eleven, and I swear it changed my life.
