Blacklisted from professional baseball in 1983, Lee was left to roam the world in search of a chance to play the game he loves. The film follows Lee, approaching sixty years young, on a road trip from his farm in Vermont to the impoverished baseball mecca of Cuba and his triumphant return to Fenway Park.

User ReviewRiley HBill Lee is one of the most...interesting figures from baseball history. Too bad he had to play for the fuckin' Red sox.
User ReviewKevin DExcellent. I really admire Lee for playing the game for the "right" reasons. He is clearly an eccentric dude and not all the synapses are connecting correctly but his love of his teammates and of the game over all makes him a most likeable guy. Love him or hate him, Lee's one of a kind personality is captured here. It's a must watch for any Sox fan.
User ReviewNicole Glove it! met the guy this summer. he was exactly like he is in this film
User ReviewPrivate UA great look at one of the most colourful figures in baseball history... Bill 'Spaceman' Lee. His competitive spirit perhaps only surpassed by his passion for the game. Having met him once while he was touring Western Canada (oddly enough, on the day Red Sox legend Ted Williams passed away) it was interesting to get a well rounded look at his career and philosophies on life.
User ReviewMat OA must see for any baseball fan. A story about Bill Lee's antics and love for the game.
