Four blue collar astronauts are stuck together on a Sanitation Station after they bring a mysterious device aboard their ship and all life on Earth disappears. Discovering what happened to civilization is only the first of many galactic-level crises the astronauts will have to face as they are about to come under attack by a mutating rubber duck named Gary, who wants to open a portal to his evil dimension and take over the Universe.... | User ReviewJohn PAttention people of Earth: Do not panic when you go to see this movie! Space Milkshake is a hilarious sci-fi comedy, set in space, that follows adventures of 4 astronauts. Their space station is boarded by a strange visitor (evil giant duck!) and all life on Earth disappeared. While they're trying to figure out what happened on Earth they must attempt to save their own lives. It kind of a reminds me of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy just with less budget. This movie will give you a lot of fun if you just don't take it too seriously and watch it open-minded. The CG in this movie is decent and is used only when needed. Acting is great and jokes are very funny. I highly recommend this movie! |

| User ReviewFilippo SWhat if a bunch of Canadians (and friends) decided to make the most ridiculous movie they could, but keep it as serious as they could? Well, George Takei plays a scientist who is bleeding between universes and appears as a rubber duck with tentacles, who is mutating into something like an overweight facehugger. And Kristen Kreuk plays a hot robot. Billy Boys, Amanda Tapping, and Robin Dunne all add their own bizarrely inept characters. This is the kind of space comedy that Sharknado tried, and failed miserably, to achieve. "The controls have been locked out! It was the duck!" Need I say more? |
