In addition to the reconstruction of Earth, the joint forces form a new intergalactic defense fleet with a new spaceship, Andromeda, to be its new symbol of power. Because of these advancements, Earth is on a path of military expansion, despite Queen Starsha's wishes of peace through the galaxy. However, when a new menace named Gatlantis, widely known as the White Comet Empire, begins to wreak havoc to a newly reformed galaxy, the Goddess Teressa calls the Yamato once more to fight back against the new menace.
