On the run from the police, she leaves her son with Bhola Bhagat, is subsequently arrested, found guilty, and imprisoned. Years later, her son, now renamed Heera, has grown up, is in love with gorgeous Roopkumari. Both plan to marry soon but the village Jagirdar, Vijay, who lusts after Roopkumari, refuses to permit them until and unless Heera proves that he has one biological parent. With Devi Maa Santoshi's help, Heera locates Kaushalya, who has been discharged from prison due to good behavior, but passes away. Will the Jagirdar accept a dead body as proof of Heera's parentage?
