User ReviewVitor AThis movie is beyond fucked up. You see a pregnant girl tied to a chair, then she gets the shit slapped out of her face. Then the killer throws her on the ground and stomps on her stomach until her water breaks, and he kills her along with the baby. These kinds of "snuff" films are really well done, but really fucked up. Unless you're really into gore, and tourture, stay far away from this movie.
User ReviewMarc-Olivier MBlood, messy and "snuffy". Just seen to many of theese kind of movies so... nothing new. But ok. ;)
User ReviewMatthew HJust another failed attempt at this sudden influx of ultra disturbing cinema. My main issue with the movie is that it just shows way too much, leaving it a boring mess. It leaves nothing to the imagination, ruining any sense of dread or surprise. This is the same issue with all of these films currently being hailed as some of the most disturbing films to ever plant themselves into the film industry. Showing copious amounts of torture, blood, and other nasty goodies suddenly lose every sense of interest when there isn't any consequence or terror built into it. Disregarding that, the film itself is just terrible. Sophomoric cinematography, terrible audio consistency and quality, horrendous acting, and a hamfisted attempt at a plot in order to properly sequence what just happened featuring cardboard cutouts disguised as characters; the boxes are all checked. Even if this film had good technical quality, the film would remain a tedious film that spills blood and guts in a vain attempt to maybe make someone's stomach curl. Overall, Snuff 102 plays it safe. It features all the blood and torture porn needed for someone to consider it disturbing, but it never goes anywhere; no low points or high points are reached in the story. Random scenes of carnage are shown in order to shock, ultimately leaving the viewer in a state of confusion. I could watch films like August Underground or Murder Set Pieces and get the same reaction.
