Hunky writer Markus returns home to find his boyfriend of four years naked with another man. Newly single, he begins waiting tables at a swinging Chelsea hotspot where the indelible supporting cast of co-workers offers conflicting directions on the off-road map to love and lust in New York City. Peter insists on holding out for "the one", and Marilyn vows by her "dating commandments." Meanwhile, lascivious Luke promises the film its title by delivering firecracker quips on the joys of his sexcapades. He believes that sleeping around is the best medicine for a broken heart. Despite disillusion, Markus falls for gorgeous model Tyler who doesn't "do relationships" because how can you promise to love somebody forever? Surprising twists, and unlikely advice await, but by the end of one unforgettable SLUTTY SUMMER, happily ever after may just be the answer.

L.A. WeeklyErnest HardyThe drama is unintentionally humorous, the humor incredibly labored and the acting rarely better than one might find in a Chi Chi LaRue XXX production.
Hollywood ReporterFrank ScheckLacks the finesse to attract significant attention beyond its target audience.
Gay City NewsBrandon JudellThat Andreas accomplished what he did in just two weeks of shooting is quite remarkable. In the end, there is some fine acting, some great kissing and several good lines.
User ReviewBrittany Jhaha I love how the guy searching my purse thought it was a porno! good times
User ReviewPrivate Ugay version of sex & the city...orgasmically good.
User ReviewDanifesto GOkay super low budget, bad writing, equally bad acting. That having been said, what saved the movie for me was an important discussion about gay men: our passion for love and our love of passion. Are these mutally exclusive or can they co-exist?
User ReviewLinda MMore of a trashy documentary style film where you get a bunch of actors, make them gay, and have them have sex with each other. Nothing more typicall in any other movie but give the rating more showing male skin more than a movie plot.
User ReviewRoxanne RGood effort by Casper Andreas to write AND direct this indy film! Its not easy so bravo zulu for putting forth the effort which is more than just dream about being in the movies or making films..This charming indie examines the romantic situations of some actors, models, and waiters in New York City's Chelsea district. At the center of things is Markus (writer-director Casper Andreas) a brokenhearted gay writer whose straight female friend, Marilyn (Virginia Bryan) gets him a summer job at the garden restaurant where she works, and where she's the only one who isn't an attractive single gay male. Soon he soon falls under the tutelage of the gleefully promiscuous Luke (Jesse Archer) who recommends spending the summer sleeping around as a surefire heartbreak cure. He does, but then Markus falls for Tyler (Jamie Hatchett), the dreamboat Welsh model on the staff, and things get even more complicated..If this is Andreas' first film I congratulate him because he has created witty characters and so believable...a clever and funny script and a good portrayal of a fast-paced restaurant work..It definitely engaged me and I recommend it!
User ReviewJames MCute, if low budget. Acting is bad but the jokes are well done
User ReviewChristian CWow. Who'd have thought an entire film could be shot in soft focus? Giving leeway for a low budget, independent LGBT film, "Slutty Summer" is decent. The acting's not great, but good enough for what it is. Decent story. Acceptable script. Nothing really good about the film, but it's not bad either.
